The short version
PinAI does not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data. Everything you save stays on your device.
What data PinAI stores
All data you save with PinAI — boards, saved AI outputs, notes, and actions — is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. None of this data is ever sent to any server, API, or third party.
What PinAI accesses
PinAI runs on three websites:
- claude.ai
- chatgpt.com
- gemini.google.com
On these sites, PinAI injects a small save button next to AI responses. It only reads the content of an AI response when you explicitly click the save button or use the right-click context menu. PinAI does not read, monitor, or store anything without your action.
What PinAI does NOT do
- Does not collect personal information
- Does not send data to any server or third party
- Does not use analytics, tracking, or cookies
- Does not use any third-party services or SDKs
- Does not require accounts, logins, or authentication
- Does not run in the background or access browsing history
Data deletion
If you clear your browser data or uninstall the PinAI extension, all saved data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. There is no cloud backup or recovery mechanism.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. PinAI's core principle — your data stays on your device — will not change.
